    1. Are sick of screening an endless list of resumes on job portals.
    2. Want to hire high quality local and remote freelancers with the flexibility of hiring them full-time on your payroll.
    3. Are looking to save on exorbitant agency fees.
    4. Want to simply test freelancers for a bit, before hiring them on your payroll.

Through our intelligent artificial intelligence and machine learning alogorithms, you directly get connected with the best, most affordable talent required for you to kick-start or grow your business.

As soon as you post a project, we connect you with a curated list of freelancers whom you can send interview offers to. This way, you don’t have to wait for candidates to apply, or bid, for your project and you don’t have to go through proposals that are not relevant. You directly send interviews and can hire top freelancers quickly.

  2. Is SkillSoniq for me if I am looking to hire full-time employees?

Absolutely! Unlike other freelance websites, 60% of clients on SkillSoniq eventually hire freelancers full-time on their payroll. We unlock options for companies to extend a full-time role to freelancers after 1 month. This means you can still work with dedicated freelancers full-time (40 hrs a week) for 1 month, after which you can make them a permanent employee at any time.

We have seen many companies wasting valuable resources on hiring and training full-time employees, only to find that they were not the right fit. SkillSoniq is a great way for you to hire full-time freelancers in your city with the flexibility of ending their project whenever you want. If the freelancer fits your culture and performs well, you can easily switch them to your payroll and make them a permanent employee any time after 1 month.

Whats more? Average time to fill on SkillSoniq is just 5-7 business days, which means you spend 60% less time in hiring a full-time freelancer on SkillSoniq (and later switching them to your w2/payroll), as opposed to hiring a full-time employee through traditional recruitment channels!

    2. Candidates are looking to get paid a low rate to be able to get a foot in the door, and hopefully be offered a full-time gig by you!
    3. Candidates are looking for supplemental part-time gigs to make more money and gain relevant experience.

    2. Dynamic Demand-Supply matching: Our threshold for approving candidates increases if demand for their skills is low, and decreases if demand for their skills is high. This way, we maintain an active pool of candidates ready to work on projects when needed.

  17. Any advice for recruiting successfully?

Once you post projects, we advise you to conduct interviews and hire the best talent quickly. Unlike on most recruitment platforms, our freelancers are always on the go and are actively looking for a project. This means that we have a very high interview and job offer acceptance rate on our platform, and you do not waste time screening candidates who are not interested in working with you.

Almost every freelancer you invite for an interview will respond to your offer within a day, either accepting your interview request or stating a reason for declining your interview. Once you’re matched with a freelancer, our biggest piece of advice is to move quickly. Either present a project offer, or decline the candidate process within 5-7 business days. The longer you wait, the more companies and offers you’re going to be competing against.

  18. Where do you source your freelancers?

We value highly skilled candidates or candidates who are willing to learn to get a job of their dreams. We attract candidates through a combination of word-of-mouth, paid and viral marketing. We also have strategic partnerships with top business and engineering schools, coding schools and coworking spaces such as Dartmouth University, Cornell University, App Academy, Launch Academy, and WeWork.

  19. Can I contact candidates outside of the marketplace?

Yes, after a freelancer has accepted your interview offer, we connect you with the freelancer over email. Thereafter, you can communicate with them over email. However, all offers have to be made on our platform, so that freelancers check-in to your office, complete timesheets and are paid by us on time. If we find that you hired freelancers outside of our platform without our written consent, we will charge you $5,000 and 10% of the amounts payable to freelancers for the first 12 months of such engagement or employment. You and the freelancer will also be prohibited from using the services of SkillSoniq in the future.
